Hello! We are starting to plan for the Western States Economic Summit. This year's Summit will be in Portland, Oregon at The Governor Hotel on June 5 (starting at noon) and June 6 (morning). We got a great room rate of $99. Mark your calendars!!
We already have three great speakers lined up:
Donald Strazheim, President of The Milken Institute
Nariman Behravesh of DRI
Jack Beebe of the San Francisco Federal Reserve
Start thinking about papers you would like to present or topics you would like to see discussed. This is an excellent opportunity for peer review and input. Please let me (Georganna) know about either of these. The Summit will begin at noon on June 5 and end at noon on June 6. The registration fee is $85. (The registration fee covers lunch on June 5 and breakfast on June 6 and makes up for my gross undercharging last year.) Make the check payable to Western States Economic Summit.
