This tight and hilly course has many pine trees lining all its fairways. There are numerous sand bunkers and water hazards coming into play throughout the course. The large greens are somewhat sloped and medium speed. The signature hole is #16, a 503-yard, par 5, offering the possibility of reaching this green in two, but it requires an approach shot over water, so making a double bogey or worse is possible. The 6,599-yard men's tee also has a ladies course rating of 78.1 and slope of 138. The 6,180-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 75.7 and slope of 133. The 5,538-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 66.7 and slope of 118.

This is a very nice eighteen hole course. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accurate tee shots, and aiming for the small, undulating greens will be a real test for your iron shots. There are water hazards on seven different holes, and sand bunkers protect both the greens and the fairways throughout the course. However well you play, this course offers you an opportunity to test your skills and nerves.

This course has medium-sized greens and tree-lined fairways that are somewhat wide open. Water hazards (three lakes and a river) come into play on a number of holes. The most difficult hole is #11, a 400-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over a canyon, then an uphill approach shot to a well-bunkered green. Junior and senior discounts are only available on weekdays.

This course features beautiful scenery and is a good test of golf. Many fairways are dogleg configurations, and all are defined by a light cut of rough. The well-manicured greens vary from small to medium in size. The most difficult hole is #5, a 463-yard, par 4, requiring a straightaway uphill tee shot that must avoid the out-of-bounds stakes on the right and the trees on the left, then an extremely long approach shot to an elevated green. Even though there are no water hazards on the course, solid course management is necessary for any chance at scoring a low round. John Steidel redesigned one hole in 1981. There is no nine-hole rate on weekends. The ladies' par is actually 74. Soft spikes are strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
