The Federation of Tax Administrators to Host Teleconference on Audit Statistical Samping
Through the cooperative effort of Dr. Will Yancey, CPA and Dr. Don Roberts, FTA will host a teleconference on “Unavailable Documentation in Sales and Use Tax Audits: Comparing the Alternatives.” The teleconference will be June 19, 2008 at 2pm EDT. The call should last 60 to 90 minutes and will allow for audience questions and comments. This session is not pre-approved for CPE credit. If successful, future calls may be arranged on other audit-related topics.
Participants should register on the FTA website. Advance questions will also be accepted on the registration page. Registrants will receive call-in information and a copy of the presentation prior to the teleconference. This will be an open teleconference with both government and non-government participants. Statistical audit specialists are urged to participate. Multiple participants from the same state or entity are urged to meet together and use speaker phones to join the call whenever practical.
